Maersk will keep the right of assignment of all import containers discharged in Valencia
As part of our continuous drive to improve and simplify your supply chain, Maersk will keep the Right of Assignment of all import containers discharged in the Port of Valencia from 1st March 2022.
This change will allow Maersk to significantly speed up the handling times for trucking your cargo and improve the execution of deliveries. It will also help to reduce the time taken for returning empty containers and therefore reduce terminal waiting times – subsequently having a positive effect on customers’ CO2 emissions footprint in the Valencia area.
Simplification means offering customers an all-in-one import product, whereby you only need to provide the final delivery location and the date you wish to receive your container. Maersk will take care of the rest.
We look forward to continuing working with you in the future. In case of any questions, please contact your local customer service or sales representatives. Thank you, once again, for doing business with us.
