A.P. Moller – Maersk is delighted to announce that, effective 1st June 2022, B2C Europe’s logistics products and services will be further integrated into Maersk’s e-commerce portfolio in Europe and rebranded as Maersk, operating under the E-Delivery product.

Founded in 2000, B2C Europe specialises in parcel delivery across Europe and beyond, bringing high levels of knowledge and expertise to e-commerce logistics and supporting customers on their goals for growth. B2C Europe offers labelling services, pick-ups, sorting parcels, linehaul and injection into the last-mile delivery network, as well as customs clearance and returns logistics.

By integrating B2C Europe’s products and services, Maersk is upscaling its e-commerce efforts in Europe and providing its customers with access to over 100 last-mile carriers through one simplified interface. The overall goal is to help our customers sell through any sales channel, deliver in any way and manage their supply chains seamlessly, and B2C Europe adds another dimension to completing the experience all the way from factory to sofa.

B2C Europe’s delivery product uses technical integrations to collect parcels at customers’ warehouses and inject them into all-important European carrier networks using its multi-carrier platform. This enables customers to both sell domestically from their warehouses as well as cross-border into Europe, leveraging their integrated customs clearance solutions across the most important entry hubs.

Karsten Kildahl, Managing Director of Maersk Europe, commented: “We are immensely proud to integrate B2C Europe into Maersk and look forward to bringing the benefits to B2C Europe and Maersk customers alike. The brand integration represents a great opportunity for customers to grow, backed by simplifying and connecting their supply chains from factory to sofa. Adding such a strong-performing company to our e-commerce portfolio will enable customers to keep up with ever-changing consumer buying patterns and offer E-Delivery products for crucial end-to-end transparency.”

José Vega, Managing Director of E-Delivery Europe, added: “B2C Europe is delighted to join forces with Maersk and it’s safe to say the journey ahead is a very exciting one indeed – Maersk’s strong ambitions within e-commerce made them a perfect fit for us and we are very much looking forward to jointly driving and supporting our respective customers’ growth plans and market development goals. Combining the expertise of B2C Europe and Maersk means we can provide complete supply chain services that enable the growth of customers’ online sales across Europe and beyond, with B2C Europe solutions delivering Maersk customers its multi-carrier platform for last-mile delivery.”

The former B2C Europe website and its content will now be hosted on Maersk’s platform as the ‘E-Delivery Portal’. This will go live on 1st June 2022 and can be accessed here: E-delivery
