AE1 / AE6 Service update additional Zeebrugge (Belgium) port call

As part of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s constant strive to provide maximum supply chain flexibility across the network for our customers, we will be adding a call of Zeebrugge (Belgium) to both our AE1 and AE6 services.

Keeping your supply chain moving with agility, connectivity and efficiency is our primary goal and we always analyse and react to situations with this in mind. As such, we have identified the need to extend our coverage of North Europe and give customers a further option of discharging at an easily accessible port.

The new directs calls at Zeebrugge will enable Maersk to improve connectivity and develop more flexible options for cargo within the North European network, consequently contributing to alleviating the ongoing congestion across the continent.

The updated port rotations for the AE6 and AE1 are as follows:

• AE6: Sines – Zeebrugge – Antwerp – Felixstowe

*Please note that only local Antwerp cargo will be affected by this new call; transhipped cargo will remain at Antwerp for direct discharge.

• AE1: Zeebrugge – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Rotterdam – Port Tangiers
