Network instability and terminal congestion at Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT) has created uncertainty with vessel receiving. We understand this creates frustration in planning your export cargo and we’re working with terminal leadership to minimize the impact and have committed to the following plan.
- Twice a week the terminal will share with Maersk the schedule for planned receiving and our website will be updated accordingly with the port cutoff.
- Should the terminal remove a vessel receiving window from their website and Maersk cargo can still be received, we will communicate the receiving dates via email and our website will reflect the port cutoff.
- If no receiving is available, we will update your shipment to the next available vessel and send a revised booking confirmation.
Rest assured we will continue to work with our terminal provider to set receiving windows in advance and limit changes as much as possible.
