Turkiye Export Storage - Reefer cargo

In order to be able to continue providing a high level of service for your reefer cargo, Maersk will introduce a new storage application for all reefer exports out of Turkiye as follows:

• The recent increases in energy costs and storage period from terminal cargo cut-off to vessel departure dates have meant that Maersk needed to assess the sustainability and accuracy of its storage cost levels for reefer cargo. After careful consideration, we will introduce a new application for the origin free-time for all reefer cargo from Turkiye: We will include a total of 5 days of storage and plug-in/electricity charges under the new surcharge called “DTE - Origin Freetime Extension” which will be USD 160 per reefer container with effect from 01 October 2023.
• With this, we will also adjust our DnD tariff where you will enjoy 5 days of storage and plug-in/electricity period included under the DTE – Origin Freetime Extension surcharge for all reefer export cargo.

The surcharge is effective from 01 October 2023 - price calculation date (PCD) and applicable to all reefer exports from Turkiye.
