Inland Rate Adjustment – COLOMBIA
At Maersk, we continuously strive to provide reliable and professional service to our clients. In order to maintain our commitment to high-quality service and unparalleled reliability, starting from March 14th, 2024, we will be implementing an adjustment in intermodal rates that benefit primarily (but are not exclusively limited to) import routes – with an average reduction of 24% for routes to Bogotá & surrounding areas, Medellin & surrounding areas, the Valle del Cauca region and the northeastern area of the country. Conversely, we will be applying an average increase of 6% principally to export routes in corridors towards the Colombian Caribbean coast: Cartagena, Barranquilla, and Santa Marta mainly due to general cost increase on these corridors.
We would like to express our gratitude for your trust, and we look forward to continuously meeting your transportation needs.
Thank you for your understanding.
