In order to keep providing you with our global services, Maersk is implementing the Peak Season Surcharge–PSS United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bhutan, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen to Unites States West Coast and Canada West Coast effective 15-Jun-24 for all 20, all 40 and all 45 high dry containers and all 20, all 40 reefer containers to US West Coast only.
We are in addition to that implementing the Peak Season Surcharge–PSS United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bhutan, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen to Unites States East & Gulf Coast and Canada East Coast effective 8-July-24 for all 20, all 40 and all 45 high dry containers.
The revised tariff amount is detailed as follow:
Origin – Middle East & Indian Subcontinent
Destination – United States West Coast & West Canada
Effective June 15th 2024
20 ALL CNTR TYPE – $540 USD
40 ALL CNTR TYPE - $600 USD
45 ALL CNTR TYPE – $760 USD
Origin – Middle East & Indian Subcontinent
Destination – United States East Coast, Gulf Coast & East Canada
Effective July 8th 2024
20 ALL DRY CNTR TYPE – $540 USD
40 ALL DRY CNTR TYPE - $600 USD
45 ALL DRY CNTR TYPE – $760 USD
- The above rates are also subject to other applicable surcharges, including local charges and contingency charges.
- These rates are unaffected by, and do not affect, any tariff notified, published or filed in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
- For trades subject to the US Shipping Act or the China Maritime Regulations, quotations or surcharges that vary from the Maersk tariff shall not be binding on Maersk unless included in a service contract or service contract amendment that has been filed with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) or the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, as applicable.
