Update on Advance Cargo Information for Export shipments to Libya
We would like to share an update on the Advance Cargo Information for Export shipments to Libya as a follow up to our previous communication sent on 16th October 2024 which can be Read here
As per the update received from Libyan Customs Authority, ACI Process has been made optional for the current phase and the mandatory phase is postponed till further notice.
This optional phase will be considered as a grace period and usage of ACI system is kept optional. This will allow more time for the Exporters and Importers to prepare for the ACI regulations both from System and process perspective.
We will share more information on the mandatory phase as soon as we hear from the Libyan authorities.
