Changes in Genset Cost, Denmark
Maersk is committed to supporting sustainable supply chains and working towards our environmental and social governance ambitions.
Due to increased costs related to both fuel taxes implemented by the Danish Government and rising trucking equipment prices, the cost for Cooling Service Destination (DGS) and Cooling Service Origin (OGS) – also known as Genset – will increase to 1295 DKK, effective from April 1st, 2025.
These changes apply to all inland haulage within and across the borders of Denmark, where a genset is selected to power reefer containers during inland moves for carrier haulage.
We will continue to invoice Cooling Service Destination (DGS) and Cooling Service Origin (OGS) separately on your Maersk invoice.
For further inquiries, please contact your local sales or customer experience representative.
