As part of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s constant strive to provide improved supply chain speed and flexibility to our customers, we will be adding Izmit Korfezi, Turkey to the rotation of our SLC Aegean Sea service. Due to this, Gebze, Turkey will not be part of this service as both ports are located in the same geographical area.
Keeping your supply chain moving with agility, connectivity and efficiency is our primary goal and we always analyse and react to situations with this in mind. With the new port call, the updated port rotation for the SLC Aegean Sea service is as follows:
Felixstowe – Hamburg – Bremerhaven – Antwerp – Piraeus – Izmit Korfezi – Ambarli – Gemlik – Izmir
The first sailing of the new SLC rotation with Izmit Korfezi call will start on 06 June with the vessel Cosco Japan, voyage 523S in Felixstowe, and the first call in Izmit Korfezi on 25 June.
Maersk is constantly evaluating the market situation and acting accordingly to keep your supply chain moving with as little disruption as possible. If there are any further changes, they will be communicated with you as soon as possible.
Our teams are here to serve you, so please do not hesitate to contact your local Customer Experience or sales representatives if you have any questions.
