Operational Cost Imports (OCI) for the Scope – World to Kenya

To continue providing you with reliable global services, Maersk will be introducing an Operational Cost Imports (OCI) charge for shipments from World to Kenya, effective 01 October 2025 until further notice.

This adjustment is in response to the increase in terminal handling costs, which will take effect on 15 September 2025. To ensure service continuity and operational efficiency, we will be recovering these additional costs through the OCI charge.

The OCI will follow/be paid with freight.

* Non-SPOT booking – The above rate is retrieved based on PCD. PCD = Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-spot bookings.

* SPOT booking – The above rate is retrieved based on 1st vessel ETD at booking confirmation for Spot bookings.
