We would like to inform you that, effective Q4 2025, Maersk will implement a tariff increase of EUR 40 per container for all import shipments to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
This adjustment is necessary due to persistent infrastructure constraints and rising operational costs across key European corridors. These developments have placed considerable pressure on our inland transportation network, particularly rail services, and have led to increased complexity and cost in maintaining reliable service levels.
While we continue to take all possible measures to mitigate the impact of these challenges, it is no longer sustainable for Maersk to fully absorb the associated costs. The tariff adjustment will help ensure the continued stability and quality of our inland operations.
We remain committed to providing you with dependable service and transparent communication. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact your Maersk representative.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
