Effective 20th October 2025, all B/L amendment requests MUST be submitted via Maersk.com.
This will help streamline the process, allowing more efficiency to process requests faster and with accuracy.
Kindly refer to the support link on - Learn to self-amend shipping instructions in a few simple steps.
We will continue to accommodate email instructions only in the following scenarios:
- Amendment requests that cannot be performed online due to system/website downtimes. (kindly attach a screenshot of the error so our teams can assist you swiftly)
- Amendment Requests received for the following website limitations:
- B/L Split or Combine
- Swich B/L requests
- Requests from customers who have purchased our Maersk Booking services (BKS) product.
Any requests received outside of these scenarios will be rejected and you will be guided to use the online channel.
To ensure you are ready for this change please register now on Maersk.com. Additionally, our Online Chat and CX teams will support and guide you should you have any questions related to the B/L amendment process.
We would like to reconfirm that our standard handling time for requests that come through Maersk.com will be more efficient for you and your organization and provide greater visibility in your supply chain.
