Implementation of Drop Off Charges Imports (DRP) and Pick Up Charges Exports (PIC) for Southern Africa and Islands Area

In order to keep providing you with our global services, Maersk is implementing Pick-Up Charge Export(PIC) and Drop Off Charge Import (DRP) for the scope of Southern Africa and Islands to / from World with effective from price calculation date 1st December 2025 for all Non-Preferred pick-up or drop-off locations.

DRP charges are applied when the container is dropped off at a non-preferred turn-in location.
What is a non-preferred DRP location: A location that is different to the last CY location on the B/L or the preferred default turn-in location stated on the Delivery Order (DRO)

PIC charges are applied when the container is picked from a non-preferred pick-up location.
What is a non-preferred PIC location: A location that is different to the first CY location on the B/L or the preferred default pick-up location stated on the Export Haulage Release Order.
