In order to improve your experience in the event of damage, cleaning and management of our containers, starting November 1st 2025, the local CAM surcharge: Container Administration and Maintenance will replace CP Container Protect surcharge. The CAM local fee will apply to all containers imported from non-FMC-regulated countries into Chile.
The surcharge will be billed by Maersk Chile SPA and will be USD $75 for a 20´ Dry container, USD $105 for a 40´ Dry container, and USD $155 for Special and Reefer containers. This surcharge includes unlimited coverage, which encompasses standard cleaning, unit repairs, and container management.
