In order to maintain the continuity and quality of our global services, Maersk will implement an Inspection Fee Import (INI) of USD 80 per 20’ container and USD 95 per 40’-45’ container in in Port Said SCCT – Egypt. This charge is driven by terminal inspection costs and regulatory customs requirements and includes the additional container movements required to perform the inspection.

“Inspection Fee Import” charge applies to all full import containers discharged from our vessels and handled at Suez Canal Container Terminal, where the scanning process is currently in place.

Effective price calculation date:

1st Mar’26 for Non-Regulated Countries to Port Said, Egypt (EGPSD)
1st Mar’26 for Vietnam to Port Said, Egypt (EGPSD)
15th Mar’26 for Regulated Countries to Port Said, Egypt (EGPSD)
