Further to our previous advisory, we continue to implement temporary adjustments across our Jeddah gateway network and to alleviate operational pressure at the terminal and maintain service continuity.
As a result, selected transshipment cargo currently routed via Jeddah will be redirected through alternative regional hubs until further notice to ensure service continuity and minimize disruptions.
Cargo Routing Arrangements
- Cargo that will continue to be handled through Jeddah:
- Shipments destined for Kuwait and Bahrain moving under Carrier Haulage solutions.
- Shipments destined for local Saudi Arabian consignees, including Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh (via the established Jeddah Landbridge solution).
- Cargo that will be rerouted via alternative Gulf hubs:
- All other cargo on merchant haulage destined for Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, UAE, and Qatar currently routing via Jeddah and/or discharged in Jeddah will be transshipped through Salalah and Khor Fakkan, followed by land transportation to Sharjah, where cargo will connect to its destination through our intra-Gulf feeder network. *
This routing adjustment also applies to cargo booked for Jeddah where the consignee is not based in Saudi Arabia.
*Please note there may be additional charges in connection with rerouting.
All impacted customers will be contacted directly with more details.
