Your partnership is of the utmost importance to us, and as your integrated logistics partner, our priority is to
ensure reliable, transparent, and efficient inland operations.
We continue to experience a high volume of cases where import documentation for containers discharged in
Rijeka and destined for Serbia is submitted late, incomplete, or incorrect, leading to delays in train planning,
congestion at the terminal, extended dwell times, and increased operational handling.
To ensure service stability and maintain efficient operations for all customers, the following documentation requirements and charges apply: All documentation must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to vessel ETA in Rijeka.
If documentation is not received at least 10 days prior to ETA:
- Containers will not be planned on scheduled trains
- Detention charges will apply until shipment is moved on first available train
Applicable charges in case of non-compliance:
EUR 65 per container – Destination Coordination Fee
- Applied when documentation is late, incomplete, or incorrect prior discharge
EUR 65 per container per week – Destination Coordination Fee
- Additionally applied weekly, after discharge until complete and correct documentation is received
Terminal storage charges – Rijeka
- Applied for full container dwell time where delays are caused by missing or incorrect documentation
Failure to comply with the above requirements may result in:
- Delays in inland transport and delivery execution
- Additional operational handling
- Accumulation of detention, storage, and documentation-related charges
These measures are necessary to ensure predictable train planning, reduce congestion at Rijeka terminal, and maintain fair and efficient operations across all customers.
