Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) Europe to Middle East & Pakistan

In order to keep providing you with our global services, Maersk is introducing the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for dry container types for the scope of North Europe & Mediterranean to United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Pakistan effective 15th August 2026 until further notice.

The tariff amount is detailed as follow:

Surcharge Code – PSS

Origin Destination Container Basis Currency 20 DRY 40 DRY & 40 HDRY & 45 HDRY
North Europe & Mediterranean United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan Per container USD 300 500
  • Origin scope is all ports in North Europe & Mediterranean
  • Destination scope is United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan
