Maersk is implementing the import reefer cost recovery charge for the scope of World to Iskenderun, Turkey.
The terminal operator has announced the introduction of an additional operational cost for all reefer containers discharged at the terminal as of 8th August. As this cost is imposed directly by the terminal operator, Maersk will recover the corresponding cost through a charge applicable to consignees, effective for discharge dates from 28 August.
The charge will apply to all reefer import containers and reflects the operational costs communicated by the terminal operator Limak port Iskenderun
The tariff amount is detailed as follows:

The above rates are also subject to other applicable surcharges, including local charges and contingency charges. These rates are unaffected by, and do not affect any tariff notified, published, or filed in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
For trades subject to the US Shipping Act or the China Maritime Regulations, quotations or surcharges that vary from the Maersk tariff shall not be binding on Maersk unless included in a service contract or service contract amendment that has been filed with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) or the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, as applicable.
