A. P. Moller – Maersk would like to inform you that the Marie Maersk currently deployed on the AE10 service has been stopped temporarily in Tanjung Pelepas due to reported cases of COVID 19 among the crew on board. Crew members are being tested and the affected crew members will be placed in quarantine and provided with medical support if required. We are checking the options for crew replacement and subsequently anticipate delays of the vessel departure from Tanjung Pelepas, which is not recoverable from schedule perspective and will result in a blank sailing.
While the planned inbound cargo to Asia will be delayed, we are working on a solution to deliver cargo at the earliest. Planned outbound cargo from Asia will load on the next sailing and/or divert to the AE1 MSC Alexandria 234W, which is scheduled to induce GDN at the same previous position of the Marie Maersk 233W.
Planned outbound cargo from Europe will load on position of the AE1 MSC Alexandria 239E.
