As part of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s efforts to keep our customers informed of the latest operational details, we would like to give you an update on GSL Nicoletta (247W/250E).
Please be informed, operations at the terminal are disrupted and go-slow actions are taking place as a result of Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) negotiations between the unions and the terminal(s) in Rotterdam (Hutchison Ports Delta II).
In order to reduce berthing delays in the schedules due to the current go-slow actions in Rotterdam, move count restrictions have been put in place for all services and vessels. Unfortunately, we will not be able to load all export cargo on GSL Nicoletta (247W/250E). Containers that are already gated in or discharged in transshipment will be prioritized for loading to relieve the yard as well as to avoid the risk of a congestion. Hence, a portion of cargo will need to be rescheduled to Maersk Kalmar (248W/251E) with ETA 27 December. If your cargo is affected by this measure, you will receive a booking amendment with vessel details as soon as your shipment is updated.
Our teams are doing everything in their power to minimize disruptions to customers and continue to monitor the situation surrounding the ongoing negotiations.
Your business is of great importance to us and we thank you for your continuous understanding and regret any inconvenience caused by this schedule.
Please feel free to contact your local customer service representatives for any questions or concerns.
