At A.P. Moller – Maersk, we have been continuing to keep an eye on developments across Ukraine and implementing solutions for our customers’ cargo within the constraints of safety.
Logistics operations in and around the country remain challenging, however we are pleased to inform you that Maersk is now able to offer direct bookings to Ukraine from across the world – alleviating a frequent customer pain point over the past year.
To do so, we have launched a new, weekly barge service from the Port of Constanta, Romania, to the Port of Reni, Ukraine. This service is now fully operational across two routes – via the Constanta/Danube Channel and the Black Sea – with a transit time of approximately 1.5 days.
Our systems are also updated and ready to accept direct customer bookings to the Port of Reni. Click here to get started.
Bookings will be subject to operational capacity and the correct documentation being submitted, which includes the legal acceptance of a Ukraine clause due to ongoing risk in the area.
To understand the terms of booking to Port of Reni in more detail or if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your local Customer Experience representative.
We look forward to continuing to assist you with your logistics needs and hope this new service will benefit your supply chain moving forwards.
