Inland Weight Discrepancy fee - Bulgaria
As your integrated logistics partner, our aim at A. P. Moller Maersk is to ensure that your supply chain moves with agility, connectivity, and ease. Therefore, we would like to remind you about a change in Inland Weight Discrepancy Fee that will be implemented for all inland shipments in Bulgaria, starting from 23 April 2023.
This charge will be applicable when there is a discrepancy of +/- 2000 kilograms between booked weight and stuffed weight, in the amount of 100 EUR per container. For safety and security reasons, in some cases cargo might still be rejected, truck evacuated and wasted trip due in full in addition to discrepancy fee.
Our overall goal remains proving our customers with predictability and minimal disruption to their supply chain, and the new charge aims to improve accuracy of the booked weight of the cargo, reduce wasted trips of the transport units and increase the capacity.
We thank you for your trust and partnership and look forward to continuing to serve your logistics needs. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your local Customer Service representative. Our teams are always available to support should you need further assistance.
