Congestion of Douala terminal reefer yard
Following the congestion of the reefer yard of the Douala container terminal, the terminal operator has placed some restrictions in the acceptance of reefer containers until further notice.
To support the customers impacted during these tough times, your favorite logistics partner, Maersk, offers the following alternatives.
- Customs clearance and delivery under tackle of your cargo with a possibility of temporary storage in our depot in Douala that is equipped with specialized power packs to accommodate up to 100 reefer containers.
- Change the destination of the containers to Kribi port and deliver to you anywhere in Cameroon, Chad or Central Africa Republic. Our experienced team will handle the customs clearance.
- Hold your containers in a transit port once pre-requisites are fulfilled.
- Our temperature-controlled warehouse for temporary storage after stripping will be ready soon so let us know if interested.
