Polaris scheduling updates

Following from the recent scheduling changes advised with regards to phase-out and schedule sliding for Southern Star vessels MONTE TAMARO 328S/330N and RIO BLANCO 328S/329N, we wish to inform you of additional updates, linked to the affected cargo, which will apply to the following Polaris service sailings.

• NICOLAI MAERSK 330E/331W will omit Nelson and induce Sydney and Tauranga port calls to facilitate coverage for affected Southern Star bookings routing during week 31 from Sydney through to New Zealand (for Tauranga discharge and/or Tauranga transhipment).
• NICOLAI MAERSK 331W Nelson exports will be updated to TAKUTAI CHIEF 0091 and route via Tauranga, while Nelson imports booked for NICOLAI MAERSK 330E ex-Melbourne will be updated to B TRADER 331E.
• TRIESTE TRADER 330W will omit Port Chalmers and induce a Tauranga port call to facilitate coverage for affected Southern Star bookings transhipping during week 31. Port Chalmers transhipment cargo will now route directly via Tauranga to connecting services.
• Port Chalmers origin cargo booked for TRIESTE TRADER 330W will update to load NICOLAI MAERSK 331W.

We are working with the respective ports to update the forward schedule along with cut-off’s, which will be published on their respective websites.
