The SAECS service has been hit with delays over the past few weeks, mainly as a result of extreme weather conditions and low productivity in terminals. We aim to maintain continuous coverage in Europe and South Africa and best transit time for the exports, below is an update on the current position and future expected schedules of the vessels. The dates are very dynamic and may push out further due to weather conditions. Safety is our top priority and will not be compromised under any circumstances.
Santa Teresa – Sailing Cape Town 26th Sep, on track to reach Rotterdam by 15th Oct.
Santa Cruz – Vessel got delayed in Durban due to weather, currently vessel is at Cape Town Anchorage, expected berthing 1st Oct, on time for her position in Europe.
MOL Proficiency – Vessel got delayed in Port Elizabeth due to weather, expected berthing in Durban 27th Sep, 2 days delayed into Europe for her position, schedule recovery in European rotation.
MOL Presence –Vessel sailed out of Port Elizabeth for safety reason, expected to return on 27th and berthing 28th to complete operations, on time through Durban, Cape Town into Europe for her position.
Santa Clara – Vessel had minor delays on arrival Port Elizabeth due to technical issues and weather conditions enroute, expected berthing in Port Elizabeth on 3rd October, on time through Durban, Cape Town into Europe for her position.
Santa Isabel –Vessel expected to arrive on time into Port Elizabeth – 9th October,
Mehuin –Vessel expected to arrive on time into Port Elizabeth – 16th October,
Santa Rita –Vessel expected to arrive on time into Port Elizabeth – 24th October.
Kalahari Express –Vessel expected to arrive on time into Port Elizabeth – 31st October.
