As communicated earlier, we will be undergoing a financial system upgrade to SAP S/4HANA in November 2023. While we are excited about the many benefits that this new system will bring to our operations, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you about upcoming changes and challenges that you may experience during the transition. The upgrade to SAP S/4HANA is a significant change that will require us to temporarily suspend some of our financial system functions during the transition. We understand that these delays can be frustrating and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please note that due to this transition, effective 7 November 2023, the adjustment credit invoice will not be available on the MyFinance portal once it is offset or cleared with the original cancelled invoice. Since it is a legal requirement to provide an offset or cleared adjustment credit invoice, an interim solution has been agreed upon as seen below. We are working on enabling the functionality and remain committed to ensuring a seamless MyFinance experience for you.To request an adjustment invoice, we kindly ask you to follow the instructions below:
- Send an E-Mail to BA address “VN.INVOICE@MAERSK.COM” with subject line "Adjustment Invoice – BL Number”
- Customer to provide original invoice for which an adjustment invoice is required or the shipment number while requesting PDF and XML
- The invoicing team will share the required PDF or XML through E-Mail basis on their SLA (2 business days)
Please note that during this period, the process may take slightly longer than usual due to the increased manual handling.
