Cape Town Express capacity limitations
Due to unforeseen operational challenges resulting from Cyclone Belal in Port Louis as well as significant wind delays in and around Cape we will not be able to accept additional bookings destinated for Cape Town that connect to the Cape Town express feeder service.
We appreciate your understanding in this regard and implore you to delay and stagger shipments to allow us to circumnavigate these challenges. The chaotic nature of import corridors currently impacting our industry are excessive and we ask for your patience whilst we seek to restore contingencies and alleviate bottlenecks that are negatively supply chains.
We recommend you prepare your cargo delivery plan as early as possible to ensure smooth passage under the current circumstances. We endeavour to always offer you our best attention.
Please feel free to reach out to your local Maersk Customer Service representatives or check https://www.maersk.com/local-information and https://www.maersk.com/schedules/ for more details.
Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to continuously serving your global transportation needs.
