Introduction of No Shipping Instructions No Load Policy for the Import cargo arriving in Israel
Maersk is implementing a No Shipping Instructions – No Load policy for the import cargo arriving in Israel. This policy is only for the cargo destined to Israel and not applicable for the transshipment and freight remaining on board cargo. This change will allow us to better serve you avoid any unnecessary delays.
The shipping instructions needs to be submitted at least 34 hours prior vessel arrival at the respective compliance load port. If you fail to submit shipping instructions before 34 hrs, the cargo will be rolled to the next available vessel. The cost of rolling will have to be borne by the customer at the origin. This policy will be effective from 23 September 2024.
To meet the Customs requirement and safeguard your cargo from the rollover, we advise you to submit a complete shipping instructions atleast 34 hrs prior vessel arrival at the respective compliance load port.
