Starting January 1, 2026, we will update our U.S. detention and demurrage tariffs for both import and export shipments.
Key points to note:
- Free time allowances remain unchanged unless otherwise specified.
- Updates include:
- Import Demurrage: Adjustments across to demurrage prices across ocean terminals
- Import and Export Detention: Increased per diem charges for all U.S. locations
- Export Demurrage: Updated charges for reefers at U.S. terminals; reduced freetime for Miami and Port Everglades.

US IMPORT DEMURRAGE
- Newark Terminals: All tiers for Dry, Non-Operating Reefer, SOC & Tanks +USD 20; Operating Reefers +USD 40.
- Other Ports: Miami & Port Everglades Tier 1 +USD 20; Philadelphia all tiers +USD 20.
IMPORT AND EXPORT DETENTION
- Dry Containers, Non-Operating Reefers & Special Equipment: All tiers +USD 10; free days unchanged.
- Operating Reefers & Philadelphia Reefer Detention: Initial tier +USD 10; tier structure expanded for longer durations at new rate levels
- Port of Hueneme & Meat Commodity Reefers: Initial tiers increased by $10, tier structure expanded for longer durations at new rate levels
EXPORT DEMURRAGE
- Reefers (excluding Newark): Top tier increased by $25.
- Miami & Port Everglades Reefers: Free time reduced to 2 working days for the first tier, with additional tier added at new rate levels.
- Newark Operational Reefers: Mid-tier up $45, top tier up $60.
