DP World Southampton announced on February 27th 2026 the incentive rate effective 1st April 2026 to 30th of June 2026.
The current incentive is in place until 31st March 2026 at a rate of GBP 50 per import laden container. With the MSP fee of GBP 10 per import laden container.
Please note highlights of the scheme effective 1st April 2026 valid for three months.
- The MSP incentive rate will remain at GBP 50.00 per import laden container within the MSP zone. For the import clearing agent who makes the customs declaration.
- Rail Freight Terminal Operators (RFTOs) will gain an incentive rate of GBP 20.00 per import laden container moved Via rail again within the MSP zone. To achieve the 30 percent target DP World Southampton Port have put in place for environmental benefits if the 30 percent is equal or is above this threshold the GBP 20.00 per container will be paid out in June 2026. If 30 percent is not achieved no payout will be gained.
- A MSP Fee of GBP 10.00 will be applied to all import laden containers. This remains unchanged.
- D P World Southampton reserves the right to review levels.
- The MSP incentive for quarter three 2026 be announced by the 31st May 2026.
- This scheme does not apply to road.
