New Zealand - KiwiRail Block of Line - King's Birthday Weekend

KiwiRail have confirmed that a Block of Line is scheduled during the upcoming King’s Birthday Weekend to enable delivery of critical track maintenance across the Auckland rail network. The Auckland Block of Line will be in effect from 7:30am Saturday 30th May through to 6:00pm Monday 1st June and during this period no trains (or road-bridging service) will move between Auckland and Tauranga.

Our teams are working closely with KiwiRail to monitor any projected backlog during this period and further updates will be shared following an assessment of any requirement for additional capacity during the following weekend of 6th to 7th June.
