Using this integrated approach, information about future goods can be collected digitally, verified, and prepared for further processing. Because all parties involved have direct access to the necessary information, coordination is facilitated, and the number of process steps is reduced.

Maersk Customs Services can correctly classify goods and use the relevant commodity codes for official paperwork due to increased visibility of their cargo. This allows goods to be cleared directly at the border, reducing the possibility of them being held at warehouses before passing through customs.
