Booking Suspension uplift - Zanzibar
We are pleased to announce that we have now resumed booking acceptance onto our 25Z service – Kisiwa Express operating between Mombasa and Zanzibar.
Africa Global Logistics (AGL), a leading logistics company in Africa, recently signed a management agreement with the Zanzibar Port Corporation to oversee operations in the terminal.
Under the agreement, AGL will be responsible for cargo handling operations and marine services at the country’s main port facility. The company is committed to investing in the modernisation projects and with the installation of new equipment, we expect to see improved productivity and a reduction of waiting time.
As Maersk, we have taken steps to provide sufficient capacity for all our customers volumes by adding another feeder on the NEW 26Z service – the Korosho Express. The 2 vessels will call Mombasa terminal at a 42-day frequency each, with berthing spaced 21 days apart.
We remain committed to putting you, our valued customers needs at the forefront and our customer service team are available to support you address any questions you may have.
