In the past week, we have had very bad weather affecting port operations and vessel movement along the South African Coast, weather forecast for this weekend is also very bad. Many vessels have had to sail far away from the coast for safety reason. Port Operations are expected to be on standby over much of the weekend. With this background, we foresee a major delay on the SAECS service. The MOL proficiency will omit Cape Town to maintain schedule integrity, the imports will be discharged in Durban to connect to the MOL Presence. The MOL Proficiency will take the position of Santa Cruz in Europe.
