Announced strike action at Port of Liverpool
A. P. Moller – Maersk would like to inform you of a freeze on specific port charges for containers that have arrived at the Port of Liverpool on or after 30 August 2022, for both import and export, due to the proposed industrial strike action at the Port of Liverpool scheduled to commence on Tuesday 20 September. Please note that this charge freeze is valid for containers at the Port of Liverpool only.
The dates, specific charges for which the freeze will apply, and qualifying criteria is detailed below:
- Dates charges will be frozen from / to: 19 Sept 2022 – 3 October 2022 inclusive
- Charges that will be frozen: storage and reefer monitoring only
- Important: Please note that containers that arrived before 30 August 2022 will not qualify for this charge freeze
The charge freeze will be automatically applied for all qualifying containers. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your local Customer Experience representative.
