Further to our announcement sent 3rd November regarding the advanced Melbourne departure and subsequent rolling of cargo from SPIRIT OF MELBOURNE 238S/244N, please be advised that affected Trans-Tasman cargo for Tauranga discharge will be updated to load SOVEREIGN MAERSK 244W calling Melbourne VICT terminal.
Due to current rail capacity demand, 40’ cargo destined for Auckland Metroport via Tauranga, is expected to remain for loading on the previously advised OC1 vessels OLUF MAERSK 245N and MAERSK WILLEMSTADT 246N.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. The decision to load affected cargo on the ad-hoc Melbourne VICT caller has been taken to minimise the likelihood of extended delays into the NZ market.
The revised schedule for SOVEREIGN MAERSK 244W is expected to be as follows:
