Maersk appoints Christopher Cook as its new Managing Director for India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka
Mumbai: Maersk has appointed Christopher Cook as its new Managing Director for India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka effective October 1, 2024. Cook brings a wealth of experience, having held several key leadership roles at Maersk, the most recent being his current role as the Managing Director of UAE, Oman and Qatar. In his new role, Cook will lead Maersk’s commercial organisation in the geography.
I am delighted to welcome Christopher to his new role. He will take charge of one of our most important markets, and I am confident Christopher’s wealth of experience will contribute to our growth in the geography.
I am deeply honoured to take on the role of leading the team in South Asia. This region presents immense growth opportunities, and I look forward to working closely with our talented team here.
