Due to adverse weather conditions which are expected to delay NICOLAI MAERSK enroute to Melbourne, we wish to inform you that NICOLAI MAERSK 323E/325W will omit Auckland and proceed directly to the subsequent POLARIS ports with Nelson arrival planned for the 25th of June.
Considering this operational adjustment, we are pleased to advise that MAERSK INNOSHIMA 324W will perform an Auckland inducement call to minimise any further disruption to your supply chain. Expected arrival at Auckland is planned for the 14th of June.
The contingency plan for affected cargo will be as follows:
- Exports currently booked for NICOLAI MAERSK 323E and loading/transhipping at Melbourne for Auckland will have the following routing options:
- Load OC1 vessel SPIRIT OF SINGAPORE 323N to discharge at Tauranga and rail through to Auckland Metroport (note OC1 terminal is DP World).
- Load Dragon vessel GSL MYNY 323N and connect via Brisbane to J-Star GSL KITHIRA 325N for direct Auckland discharge.
- Exports currently booked for NICOLAI MAERSK 325W and loading/transhipping at Auckland will be updated to load MAERSK INNOSHIMA 324W.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Should you have any questions please contact our Customer Experience Team via our Live Chat channel.
We thank you in advance for trusting Maersk as your supply chain partner.
