Polaris Service Vessel Swap - Nicolai Maersk 340W and AS Sabine 344W - Maersk Wellington 341N Timaru Inducement
Due to continued adverse weather conditions in the Tasman Sea impacting the POLARIS schedule, we wish to advise that NICOLAI MAERSK 340W will swap positions with AS SABINE 344W to help mitigate delays.
NICOLAI MAERSK 339E will call Melbourne on the 9th of October to complete discharge operations, then the vessel will resume the POLARIS rotation on the 30th of October at Nelson.
AS SABINE 341W will continue her usual rotation up to and including Melbourne and then will proceed to Auckland on the 1st of November to begin the 344W voyage. To reduce the impact to customers, MAERSK WELLINGTON 341N will induce Timaru on the 18th of October to assist with coverage.
The Customer Experience team will be in touch with affected customers to advise on alternate routings for impacted shipments.
We are working with the respective terminals to update their schedules and cut-offs accordingly.
We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your continued support and trust in Maersk as your supply chain partner. Should you have any questions please contact our Customer Experience Team via our Live Chat channel.
