Serving Latin America comes with its challenges: long distances, infrastructure gaps, and complex cross-border flows that impact speed, costs, and visibility. Maersk Contract Logistics is designed to simplify this, via a strategic regional network of 12 warehouses, offering almost 200,000 sq. m of combined capacity. This enables customers to position inventory closer to demand, streamline distribution, and optimise multi-country operations.

A key hub within this network is the Panama Pacifico warehouse. Located in a Special Economic Zone, it offers tax and customs benefits such as duty exemptions, flexible storage conditions, and simplified cross-border handling – alongside strong multimodal connectivity. Supported by local expertise, end-to-end visibility, and global integration, we help your operations scale with more agility, control, and resilience across Latin America.

Consolidation is combining less than full load (LTL/LCL) shipments of cargo into one shipment at a centrally located point of origin by a freight consolidator and transporting them as a single shipment to a destination point. Deconsolidation is the opposite of consolidation, referring to the process of breaking down a large shipment into smaller units. 

Yes, Maersk offers bonded warehousing facilities in which dutiable goods may be stored, without payment of duty.

Yes, we can offer you bonded/non-bonded warehouse storage where you can store inventory volumes destined to multiple countries.

We will have our Maersk Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrated with your systems for seamless flow of information and exchange of data through standard messages.

Maersk facilities offer all multiple services from one single shed, hence deconsolidation and fulfilment or any other service that is carried out within four walls of a warehouse can be offered to you from the same facility.
