Based on the increasing cases of Covid 19 in Papua New Guinea, The Solomon Islands’ Government has advised of increased restrictions for vessels entering the Solomon Islands when the last port of call was within Papua New Guinea. This means after departing PNG our ship must wait for 14 days before being able to enter The Solomon Islands.
In order to minimise our schedule disruption, we will change the port call rotation from:
Original: POM-NOR-LAE-WWK-MAG
Revised: NOR-POM-LAE-WWK-MAG
Note: Port Noro (NOR) is in the Solomon Islands
This will result in a delay for POM imports and a short delay for Lae, Wewak and Madang. Details will be updated on our Maersk website: here
This rotation change will be applied to the Haddock 113S / 114N
Subsequent vessel rotations will be reviewed and updated in the coming weeks.
Our customer experience team will be available via pg.import@maersk.com and pg.export@maersk.com for any questions.
We thank you in advance for trusting Maersk as your supply chain partner.
